What Is Project Momentum?

Project Momentum is funded by Sacramento County through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is administered by Community Strong Strategies in partnership with the Innovation Center at Granite School and Choose Folsom. The program delivers a high-impact blend of services designed to meet business owners where they are and move them forward—without the burden of cost.

What’s Included:

  • Expert business coaching and strategy support

  • Monthly Lunch & Learn sessions on timely topics

  • Free coworking space at the Innovation Center at Granite School

  • Business development tools and referrals to help unlock new opportunities

When asked what part of the program has been most valuable, Tiffany Andrews—owner of the Law Office of Tiffany L. Andrews, P.C.—highlighted the power of connection and continued learning:

“Meeting new business owners, learning about AI, being educated and inspired to pursue additional business ventures, and gaining valuable advising.”

Whether you're restarting operations, refining your business model, or looking to grow, Project Momentum is designed to support that next step.

Why Project Momentum Matters: An Entrepreneur’s Perspective

For some business owners, Project Momentum isn’t just a helpful resource—it’s a turning point.

Lana Marsland, owner of LVM Branding, joined the program at a pivotal moment in her business journey.

“When I first saw the invitation to Project Momentum, I was at a turning point. I had recently left my job to pursue my business full-time, but I was struggling to find clients, build consistent systems, and create real momentum. Reading about the program felt like a lifeline. Not just another resource, but a deeply personalized opportunity to grow with support from professionals who care.”

Through coaching, accountability, and strategic planning, Lana found a new level of clarity. Support from experts and the Project Momentum team helped her shift her mindset, strengthen her systems, and land real client opportunities.

“In short, it’s the combination of mindset breakthroughs, strategic coaching, and unwavering human support that made Project Momentum an unforgettable and truly life-changing experience.”

How Project Momentum Is Making an Impact

Every business starts from a different place, and Project Momentum meets you where you are. Whether you're in ideation or expansion mode, the support is personal and actionable.

When asked what part of the program has been most valuable, Jacob Rangel, owner of Jacob Rangel Productions, didn’t hesitate to name two:

“It's a tossup between the free advisor hours because of the smart people available to advise, and the office space. I’m able to take meetings and get core work done in this beautiful space that’s been created.”

From completing major personal milestones to unlocking new client opportunities, participants are finding the clarity, structure, and network they need to keep moving forward.
