Startup Folsom is a non-profit organization with a mission to cultivate Folsom's Entrepreneurial and Innovation Ecosystem from the ground up. Our schedule includes weekly events that aim to educate, inspire, and foster a sense of community among entrepreneurs.

Team
Rich Foreman
As founding CTO, Rich led the team that developed the CordicoShield / CordicoFire Wellness App. Cordico was honored with the Sacramento Innovation Award in 2021. After achieving a 7 digit ARR, Cordico was acquired by Lexipol in 2020. Rich has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington, an MPA from Troy State University and was an officer in the U.S. Navy. Rich co-authored his book, "Tap into the Mobile Economy." Rich's blog was listed in Top 20 Marketing Mobile Blogs of 2014. He has been featured on KCRA3, NEWS10, 1170 Tech AM PowerDrive, Business Radio Money 105.5, SiliconIndia, the Sacramento Business Journal, and the Sacramento Bee. Rich is also the Founding Director of the Sacramento Chapter of Startup Grind and served a term as Utility Commissioner for the City of Folsom. Rich is a regular contributor to TechWire.net and StartupSac.com. Rich was the Co-founder of Apptology which was named Small Business of the Year in 2014 by the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber.

Megan Kenney
Megan Kenney is a Folsom resident and has been an active participant in her community her entire life. After years of travel as a D-1 collegiate athlete, she always knew she would want to land back home in Northern California. With years of experience working for non-profits and consultants, her love for community and her ability to take action has led her to her favorite role yet at Granite City Coworking. As the lead on all things "operations", Megan knows how to channel her team-player mentality and maximize her skills on a small but mighty (and impactful) team. Megan loves talking about her two daughters, loves Sociology sandwiches (add bacon and avocado), and plays a mean game of cornhole.
Matthew Loughran
Matthew is an accomplished senior executive and social impact entrepreneur in the emerging technology field. Matthew is the principal at Midtown West Media, a Web3 and innovation-focused media firm. In addition, he serves as executive advisor to social impact, fintech, and mobility startups, a blockchain smart contract audit and cyber security firm, and boards of non-profits. Whether in senior executive or consultant roles for corporate or agency organizations, Matthew has delivered brand and product development; launch and go-to-market strategy; customer acquisition methods, and systems.
Sedale Turbovsky
Sedale Turbovsky is the CEO and co-founder of OpenGrants, a venture-backed startup focused on building modern infrastructure for grant funding. Prior to OpenGrants, Sedale served as the CEO of carbonBLU, a venture, and grant-backed SaaS startup solving challenges in fleet management. Sedale led the company through MVP and helped secure a healthy pipeline of government contracts. During that time, he gained intimate knowledge of the challenges and pitfalls of applying for and managing grant funding as a technology startup, which was the impetus for OpenGrants. Sedale brings with him a history of leading successful teams, experience with—and deep connections to—the public sector, and a passion for building companies with a strong social mission. Some of his super powers include fundraising, team building, no-code wizardry and the ability to run on less sleep than most other humans. Sedale is a founding fellow of the OnDeck Climate Tech fellowship and an ardent advocate for economic empowerment and innovation as economic development.
Zakary Logie
Zakary Logie is the Founder and CEO of Launched Digital Solutions, a Digital Marketing and Technology consulting firm based out of Sacramento. Zakary is currently working with Caltrans and other construction industry partners on innovating the way government agencies contract with small businesses through new web-based processes that increase transparency and provide support for new contractors. He is passionate about promoting growth by integrating technology and existing processes to make more effective solutions.
