Pitch Elk Grove 2025: Meet the 16 Semi-Finalists Driving Regional Innovation

The City of Elk Grove has announced the 16 semi-finalists for its Fourth Annual Pitch Elk Grove competition, setting a new record with 70 applications from across eight Northern California counties—Sacramento, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, San Joaquin, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba.

This year marks a milestone: for the first time, a startup from San Joaquin County has advanced to the semi-finals, underscoring the event’s growing regional impact and the momentum behind Northern California’s innovation ecosystem.

Before the finals, all 16 semi-finalists will compete in a virtual pitch-off on July 31 to determine the finalists. Those who advance will receive one-on-one mentorship as they prepare to pitch live for $20,000 in cash prizes:

  • 🥈 $5,000 – Second Place

  • 🥉 $2,500 – Third Place

  • 🏘️ $2,500 – Best Elk Grove-Based Startup
